The short version

We’re launching Payouts in the UAE, to help global businesses to remit payments like a local in the United Arab Emirates.

The long version

The Middle East can be a tough market to access as a global business, but is one of the fastest growing regions in the world. With a young tech savvy consumer base, rich economies supported by global finance and oil markets, and some of the world's most exciting businesses - the Middle East is on nearly every global companies’ expansion list. Learn more about the UAE market, and why it is such an exciting country to expand to, in our post here.

James and I started Fuse to help global businesses and payment companies to expand their service to the MENA region, as simply as integrating an API, without needing local licenses, banking, and teams - we want to make the GCC as simple to move money in and out of as Europe. Launching payouts is the first step on our journey to achieving this.

With Fuse, international businesses can now make payouts in local currency to:

  • Pay suppliers and vendors;

  • Process withdrawals;

  • Remit payroll payments;

  • Process refunds;

  • Facilitate cross border payment.

And more!

Through one API integration, payouts in the UAE are:

  • Immediate: Processed over both the Funds Transfer System and the IPP instant payment network.

  • Local: Made in AED, sent from local accounts to local accounts.

  • Final: Once settled, payouts are final - from initiation to settlement you can rely on the Fuse API for the status of your payouts.

  • Interoperable: As Fuse adds more markets in the Middle East, your integration remains the same - one API to access the entire region’s payment stack.
